Short Fiction

Size limit: 5000 words

We are looking for stories with an edge and welcome all styles and genres. We publish compelling and memorable stories. Not only do we publish full-length stories, but we publish flash fiction. We do not publish pornography of any sort. We suggest you read a copy of our magazine before submitting to determine our literary tastes.

One story per submission. Please do not send more than one story at a time. When you have received word as whether or not your story has been accepted, you are welcome to send another story.

Size limit: 200 lines/poem

Send 3-5 poems per submission and one submission at a time. Wait until you receive notice as to whether or not your submission has been accepted before sending another. We are open to all styles, formal and free verse, and all sub-genres. What we are looking for is well-crafted poems with fresh imagery, heart, and an edge. Read a copy of our journal before submitting to determine what our tastes are. Be sure to title your poems.

Size limit: No more than 200 words

We publish book reviews of books published by small presses no longer than 200 words.
